Do you know the secrets to more rapid and effective language learning?

Just how effective is your language learning strategy. Are you doing the most you can? Is your learning effective? 1) Do you practise with one or more native speakers of the language you are learning, where you speak exclusively in that language? No. Once a week for up to an hour. Once a week for less than an hour. 2-3 times a week for over an hour each time. Daily for over an hour. 2) How long do you spend in a classroom with a qualified teacher of the language you are learning. Up to 1 hour a week. 2-3 hours a week. 4 to 10 hours a week. Over 10 hours a week. 3) How much time per week do you spend on your language learning? less than 5 hours per week. 5 to 10 hours per week. more than 10 hours per week. 4) Do you have concentrated periods in a 'total immersion' situation, where you converse wholly and solely in the target language you are learning? less than 4 hours per week. 4 to 10 hours per week. I am living and fully interacting in a country where they only speak my target language.
