Spanish Verb FLUIR: to flow

The Spanish verb fluir means 'to flow' and is an irregular Spanish IR verb.

To remember this, imagine ducks FLEW 'ERE to where the FLUID river FLOWS!

        USING the SPANISH VERB FLUIR      

Spanish verb fluir - flow la fluidez (nf): fluency; fluidity, smooth, flow.

Spanish to flow is fluir el flujo (nm): the flow.
el fluido eléctrico (nm): current, power.
fluido, a (adj): fluid, current; fluent (language).

Spanish for flow is fluir Hablo francés con fluidez: I speak French fluently.
El tráfico es fluido: The traffic is moving smoothly.
un flujo emigratorio: a wave of immigrants.

you informal vos replaces - you, informal, singular -
- in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and also in some countries of Central America.
Sometimes it also replaces the formal singular 'Usted'.
In irregular IR verbs, the conjugations remain the same as for except for the addition of accents in the following tenses:
Presente:      vos fluís
Imperativo:  ¡fluí!
