Spanish Verb MEMORIZAR: to memorise

The Spanish verb memorizar means 'to memorise' and is an irregular Spanish ZAR verb.

memorístico, a (adj): rote learning.

Spanish to memorise is memorizar la memoria (nf): memory.
de memoria (nf): from memory/by heart.
¡Haz memoria! Try to remember!
en/a la memoria de quelqu'un: in memory of someone.

Spanish for to memorise is memorizar tener buena memoria : to have a good memory.
aprender/saber algo de memoria : to learn/know something by heart.
tener memoria de elefante : to have an incredible memory/a memory like an elephant.

you informal vos replaces - you, informal, singular -
- in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and also in some countries of Central America.
Sometimes it also replaces the formal singular 'Usted'.
In irregular ZAR verbs, the conjugations remain the same as for except for the addition of accents in the following tenses:
Presente:      vos memorizás
Subjuntivo:  vos memoricés
Imperativo:  ¡memorizá! ¡No memoricés!
