On installation of the program from the CD I get an error message.

If you get one of the following messages the CD may be faulty.

Message Heading:
Setup has been unable to change the file permissions on file (Installation Error).
Message Text:
Setup has been unable to change the file from read only. Please alter the file attributes on the file manually so that the file is not read only.

OR

Message Text:
Setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

Either of the messages above would indicate that the CD is faulty. This is usually due to a manufacturer's fault in the CD.

Contact us and we will send you a new one, or we can offer you a download of the program. We like to ask you to send it back to us, so that we can run diagnostic checks on it, and send it to the manufacturers.

CD maunfacturers (from whom we buy 'raw' CD's) claim that a 1 to 2% rejection rate is 'normal'. However as time passes they say that this is improving!

If you get a different error message on installation...
