Daily Verb Lesson: Italian for associate is associare

The Italian verb for associate is the irregular -ARE verb associare.

Associare can also mean: to affiliate, to bring together, to link, to tie.
Related words include:
  - associarsi (vr) : to link up, to team up, to go into partnership, to join.
  - l'associazione (nf) : association, organisation.

These verbs remove an i in some conjugations. Verbs conjugated in this way also include : annunciare, arricciare, bilanciare, enunciare, falciare, pronunciare, associare, agganciare, marciare, sbucciare. Exception here: the Future and Conditional tenses retain the i before the ending.
