Spanish Verb ABARCAR: to cover

The Spanish verb abarcar means 'to cover' and is an irregular Spanish AR verb.

Spanish verb abarcar - cover abarcar can mean: to cover, to span, to range over (themes, territory, time); to extend over; to embrace; to cope with; to monopolise (LAm).
El libro abarca las guerras del siglo pasado: The book covers the wars of the last century.

Spanish to cover is abarcar El que mucho abarca poco aprieta: Don't bite off more than you can chew/Don't spread yourself too thin (ie Don't take on too much).
Desde aquí se abarca toda la plaga: From here you can see the whole beach.

Spanish for cover is abarcar El discurso abarcó varias temas: The speech covered various themes.
No puedo abarcarlo todo: I can't take on too much.

you informal vos replaces - you, informal, singular -
- in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and also in some countries of Central America.
Sometimes it also replaces the formal singular 'Usted'.
In irregular AR verbs, the conjugations remain the same as for except for the addition of accents in the following tenses:
Presente:      vos abarcás
Imperativo:  ¡abarcá!
