Spanish Verb ACTUAR: to act

The Spanish verb actuar means 'to act ' and is an irregular Spanish AR verb.

To remember this, imagine Hugh Grant says, "If you ACT YOU ARE an actor!"

Actuar makes conjugation changes in the Present, Present Subjunctive and Imperative tenses by adding an accent to the u.
During the first part of November a new irregular UAR verb is featured each day to enable you to consolidate some of the AR verb families. You will learn other verbs with similar patterns such as continuar, evaluar, fluctuar, habituar, and others.

I find that the fastest and easiest way to learn and REMEMBER new Spanish words is with memory trigger cartoon pictures. It makes them harder to forget.

  HOW TO CONQUER SPANISH VERB CONJUGATION   

  • The Spanish verb for act actuar is an Irregular AR verb.
  • Learn to conjugate actuar and it will reinforce this irregular pattern.
