Spanish Verb ATACAR: to attack

The Spanish verb atacar means 'to attack' and is an irregular Spanish AR verb.

To remember this, imagine you see a man ATTACK A CAR!

Spanish verb atacar - attack atacar can mean: to tackle, to launch into.

Spanish to attack is atacar el atacante (nm): attacker, assailant.
atacante (adj): infuriating.
el ataque: attack.

Spanish for attack is atacar atacar los nervios: to lose one's cool.
Su machismo me resulta atacante: His male chauvinism really gets on my nerves.
un ataque cardíaco/al corazón: a heart attack.

you informal vos replaces - you, informal, singular -
- in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and also in some countries of Central America.
Sometimes it also replaces the formal singular 'Usted'.
In irregular AR verbs, the conjugations remain the same as for except for the addition of accents in the following tenses:
Presente:      vos atacás
Imperativo:  ¡atacá!
