Spanish Verb BEBER: to drink

The Spanish verb beber means 'to drink' and is a regular Spanish ER verb.

To remember this, imagine that you drink like a baby!

Spanish verb beber - drink beber a sorbos: to sip.
beber por / a la salud de alguien: to drink to someone's health.
bebercio (nm): booze (coll).
(estar) borracho / borracha (adj m/f): (to be) drunk.

Spanish to drink is beber Se aconseja beber dos litros de agua diarios:
(It) is recommended to drink two litres of water a day.
beber como un cosaco: to drink like a fish.
beber de un trago: to drink in one go.
El buen beber y el buen comer: Good food and drink.

Spanish for drink is beber la bebida (nf): drink, beverage.
bebido / bebida (adj m/f): drunk, tipsy.
Si bebes, no conduzcas. Don't drink and drive.

you informal vos replaces - you, informal, singular -
- in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and also in some countries of Central America.
Sometimes it also replaces the formal singular 'Usted'.
In regular ER verbs, the conjugations remain the same as for except for the addition of accents in the following tenses:
Presente:      vos bebés
Imperativo:  ¡bebé!
