Spanish Verb COMPETIR: to compete

The Spanish verb competir means 'to compete' and is an irregular Spanish IR verb.

To remember this, the CONS COMPETE 'ERE at the race!

you informal vos replaces - you, informal, singular -
- in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and also in some countries of Central America.
Sometimes it also replaces the formal singular 'Usted'.
In irregular IR verbs, the conjugations remain the same as for except for the addition of accents in the following tenses:
