Spanish Verb EXPEDIR: to issue, to send (out)

The Spanish verb expedir means 'to issue ' and is an irregular Spanish IR verb.

To remember this, imagine EXPED DEER allow you to EXPEDITE the issuing of mail!

Around 30 verbs are conjugated like expedir, replacing the e with an i in the present, preterite, subjunctive and imperative tenses.

Spanish verb expedir - issue expedir can also mean: to send (out); to dispatch.
expedirse (vr): to express (ie opinion, announcement).

Spanish to issue is expedir el expediente (nm): expedient.
un título expedido por (nm): a certiifcate issued by.

Spanish for issue is expedir Se expidieron tres millones de visas: They issued three million visas.

you informal vos replaces - you, informal, singular -
- in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and also in some countries of Central America.
Sometimes it also replaces the formal singular 'Usted'.
In irregular IR verbs, the conjugations remain the same as for except for the addition of accents in the following tenses:
