Spanish Verb HERIR: to injure

The Spanish verb herir means 'to injure' and is an irregular Spanish IR verb.

Spanish verb herir - injure herir can also mean: to hurt, to wound, to pierce.
herir a alguien: to hurt someone.
herirse (vr): to hurt/injure oneself.

Spanish to injure is herir la herida (nf): wound.
herido/a (adj): injured (m/f).
herido gravemente: gravely/seriously injured.
herido de muerte: fatally injured.

Spanish for injure is herir hurgar en las heridas: to open old wounds.

you informal vos replaces - you, informal, singular -
- in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and also in some countries of Central America.
