Spanish Verb HERIR: to injure

Spanish verb herir - injure herir can also mean: to hurt, to wound, to pierce.
herir a alguien: to hurt someone.
herirse (vr): to hurt/injure oneself.

herido/a (adj): injured (m/f).
herido gravemente: gravely/seriously injured.
herido de muerte: fatally injured.

Spanish for injure is herir hurgar en las heridas: to open old wounds.
lamerse las heridas: to lick one's wounds.
una herida de guerra: a war wound.

you informal vos replaces - you, informal, singular -
- in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and also in some countries of Central America.
Sometimes it also replaces the formal singular 'Usted'.
In irregular IR verbs, the conjugations remain the same as for except for the addition of accents in the following tenses:
