Spanish Verb PARECER: to seem

The Spanish verb parecer means 'to seem' and is an irregular Spanish ER verb.

Spanish verb parecer - seem parecer (de) can also mean: to appear, to resemble.
parecerse a: to look like.
parecer + inf: to seem to + inf.
parecer ser : to seem to be.
Parece tonto / complicado / perezosa.: It seems silly / complicated / lazy.

Spanish to seem is parecer el parecer (nm): opinion.
a mi parecer: in my opinion.
Soy del parecer de que... I believe that...
Soy del mismo parecer: I am of the same opinion.
de buen parecer.: handsome (of nice appearance).

Spanish verb parecer is to seem vos replaces - you, informal, singular -
- in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and also in some countries of Central America.
Sometimes it also replaces the formal singular 'Usted'.
In irregular ER verbs, the conjugations remain the same as for except for the addition of accents in the following tenses:
Presente:      vos parecés
Imperativo:  ¡parecé!
