Spanish Verb PEGAR: to strike

The Spanish verb pegar means 'to strike' and is an irregular Spanish AR verb.

Spanish verb pegar - strike pegar can also mean: to hit, to give: to glue, to stick. pegarle a alguien: to hit somebody.
pegarse: to stick, to hit/knock oneself.
pegarse a alguien: to latch on to somebody.

Spanish to strike is pegar la pega (nf): trick, joke, work.
el pegamento (nm): glue, adhesive.
quedarse pegado: to be electrocuted.

Spanish for strike is pegar pegársela : to have a crash.
pegarse un tiro: to shoot oneself.
pegarse una ducha: to take a shower.

you informal vos replaces - you, informal, singular -
- in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and also in some countries of Central America.
Sometimes it also replaces the formal singular 'Usted'.
In irregular AR verbs, the conjugations remain the same as for except for the addition of accents in the following tenses:
