Spanish Verb RECORDAR: to remember

The Spanish verb recordar means 'to remember ' and is an irregular Spanish AR verb.

To remember this, imagine to remember things it is useful to RECORD them on a RECORDER!

Recordar changes the stem in the Present, Present Subjunctive and Imperative tenses.
During December a new irregular -AR verb is featured each day to enable you to consolidate an irregular AR verb family. You will learn other verbs with similar patterns such as acostar, encontrar, recordar, probar, and others.

you informal vos replaces - you, informal, singular -
- in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and also in some countries of Central America.
Sometimes it also replaces the formal singular 'Usted'.
In irregular AR verbs, the conjugations remain the same as for except for the addition of accents in the following tenses:
Presente:  vos recordás
Imperativo:  ¡recordá!

  HOW TO CONQUER SPANISH VERB CONJUGATION   

  • The Spanish verb for remember recordar is an Irregular AR verb.
