Spanish Verb RESISTIR: to resist

Spanish for resist is resistir resistente (adj): resistant, tough, hardwearing.
resistente al calor/a la humedad: to be heat resistant / damp-proof.
No resistimos al enemigo, sino le amamos: Don't resist the enemy, but (let's) love him,
Resistiremos y venceremos: (We will) resist and overcome.

you informal vos replaces - you, informal, singular -
- in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and also in some countries of Central America.
Sometimes it also replaces the formal singular 'Usted'.
In regular IR verbs, the conjugations remain the same as for except for the addition of accents in the following tenses:
Presente:      vos resistís
Imperativo:  ¡resistí!
