I'm a French native speaker and I listened to some French Michel Thomas courses, just to make sure of the quality of his lessons. His accent his very good, but I would say that it sounds a bit like a Belgian accent. But any one who tries to imitate exactly the Michel Thomas accent would be understood wihout any problem by French native speakers.
