Michel Thomas simplifies learning enormously. Anyone can learn the structure and vocabulary almost effortlessly due to his extraordinary methods - making lists and revision are not allowed, no forced remembering - just allowing the language to flow and being reenforced through his wonderful techniques. No other language teaching can compare. He emphasizes the correct pronunciation constantly explaining how words are run together in common speech (for example je ne sais pas becomes jn sais pas). Absolutely excellent.
To say he has the wrong accent is nonsense. He is not teaching perfect French as an academic exercise, but real conversational French with all its intonations and character.
