With the Michel Thomas' approach students start speaking early on because they understand how the language works and what it takes to start using it from scratch. What I like best about it is that they start speaking immediately and most courses I am familiar with take students some time to become confident and begin using it. I speak eight different languages and I can tell if I had started learning them with the Michel Thoma's method I would have learned earlier and would be able to keep on learning more foreign languages.
