Spanish Verb CAZAR: to hunt

The Spanish verb cazar means 'to hunt' and is an irregular Spanish ZAR verb.

Spanish verb cazar - to hunt cazar can also mean: to catch, to shoot; to grasp, to understand.
dar cazar a alguien: to pursue someone.
ir/salir a cazar: to go hunting/shooting.
cazarlas al vuelo: to be quick on the uptake.

Spanish to hunt is cazar la caza (nf): hunt, hunting.
la caza mayor/menor (nf): big/small game hunt.
la caza furtiva (nf): poaching.
el caza (nm): fighter.
el cazador / la cazadora (nm/f): hunter (male/female).

Spanish for to hunt is cazar el cazador de fortunas: fortune hunter.
el cazador de cabezas: a headhunter.
el/la cazatalentos (m/f): talent scout.
el/la cazatendencias (m/f): trendspotter.

you informal vos replaces - you, informal, singular -
- in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and also in some countries of Central America.
Sometimes it also replaces the formal singular 'Usted'.
In irregular ZAR verbs, the conjugations remain the same as for except for the addition of accents in the following tenses:

Subjuntivo:  vos cacés
